The main theatre of the Royal Shakespeare Company, in Shakespeare's home town on the River Avon. It reopened in 2011 after a major transformation, and its thrust stage brings the audience close to the actors. The tower has views over the town and river, and the smaller Swan Theatre and the Other Place are nearby.
