A castle in Angus, Scotland, the family home of the Earls of Strathmore and Kinghorne for centuries. It was the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and the birthplace of Princess Margaret. Shakespeare named Macbeth the Thane of Glamis, and the castle has many ghost stories. The grounds include formal gardens and woodland walks.
