One of Scotland's most photographed castles, on a small island where three sea lochs meet in the Highlands and linked to the shore by a stone bridge. A castle has stood here since the thirteenth century; this one was rebuilt in the early twentieth century after being destroyed in 1719. It has appeared in several films.
