More information about The Songs of Joni Mitchell tickets Celebrating one of the greatest songwriters of all time, through the unique voices of the artists she continues to inspire. Following a revered debut at the Roundhouse in 2024, two sold out tours and widespread critical acclaim, The Songs of Joni Mitchell returns for some very special shows and festivals in 2026. Jesca Hoop & Lail Arad, acclaimed singer-songwriters in their own right, will perform intimate interpretations of their favourite Joni Mitchell songs. They'll be joined by special guest performers at every port, each bringing something new to Joni's vast catalogue. Previous guests have included Kate Stables (This Is The Kit), Vashti Bunyan, Simon Armitage, Lisa Hannigan, Gail Ann Dorsey, Rachel Sermanni and Sam Amidon. Originally conceived and curated by Lail Arad to mark Joni Mitchell's 80th birthday, the show was described as "a perfect celebration of Joni Mitchell" (Get In Her Ears), packed with "heartfelt and intricate performances". Jesca Hoop, just a few months prior, presented Legend: The Joni Mitchell Story, the award-winning 6-part BBC Radio documentary and podcast about the life of Joni Mitchell, lending further gravitas to the event. Ahead of their last tour Jesca, Lail and Kate Stables released a companion EP on Small Matter Records: The Songs Of Joni Mitchell Vol. 1. These up close and personal recordings offer fresh interpretations of four treasured Joni songs and provide a lovely hint of what to expect on stage. "Such a stand-out show." - Cerys Matthews "Their voices individually are just perfection. You could hear a pin drop. And then the three part harmonies when they sang together, were just exquisite." - Zoe Ball "A stellar line up of artists reimagine Mitchell's most magnificent works." - The Arts Desk "Immaculately performed." - The Herald, Scotland "A gorgeous roving tribute." - Far Out Magazine "Their version of "Raised on Robbery" is cool fire!" - Ann Powers, NPR "Absolutely fantastic. What a combination of voices. So, so good." - John Kennedy, Radio X "Songwriting shines as artists pay tribute." - London World
