Portals Presents: Victor Villarreal

Portals are delighted to present American guitar legend Victor Villarreal performing a rare London headline show. Victor rose to great acclaim with his pioneering guitar work in bands such as Cap'n Jazz, Owls and Joan of Arc. Victor Villarreal is the guitarist who helped spark a genre, then quietly slipped into his own lane, crafting what he describes as a blend of hypnotic folk, rock, and classical music. His songs carry a subtle, mysticism-haunting, intricate, slightly off-center, yet warm, intimate, and unexpectedly sentimental. At times, it's all pleasantly confusing. In the spirit of Vicente Amigo, The Moody Blues, and Shudder To Think
