Kinder Mountain Rescue - Winter Fundraiser

WITH: LIVE MUSIC FROM THE STRINES and OUTDOOR BAR and 8 Cask Ales! Mobilised under police control, we provide search and mountain rescue services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and also respond to requests from the Ambulance and Fire & Rescue Services. Based in the village of Hayfield, we rescue walkers, climbers, fell runners and mountain bikers from the challenging terrain of the western Peak District. The team is made up of around 50 unpaid volunteers who give their time freely. Our members turn out for callouts at any hour, train regularly to maintain their skills, and help with fundraising throughout the year. As a self-funded charity we rely entirely on public donations, and need over £50,000 each year to operate. Every contribution helps us keep our equipment, vehicles and training ready for the next callout. Please consider supporting the team.
