Baba Yaga's Hut present: Deradoorian (Dirty Projectors, Decisive Pink) + Kate NV & GAL GO at The Lexington, November 1st Fusing elements of indie rock, avant-garde electronic music, dub, and dance rhythms, Deradoorian is the name Angel Deradoorian works under as a solo artist. She launched said solo career after making a name for herself as a member of Dirty Projectors and collaborating with artists such as Avey Tare and Flying Lotus. Her albums, including 2015's 'The Expanding Flower Planet' and 2020's 'Find the Sun', are cosmic song cycles informed by her spiritual journey. After collaborating with Kate NV under the name Decisive Pink on 2023's heavily electronic 'Ticket to Fame', Deradoorian added that sound to her already jam-packed approach on 2025's 'Ready for Heaven'. --- Kate NV is the musical project of Russian-born, Berlin-based artist and composer Ekaterina Shilonosova. Known for her distinctive approach to experimental pop, she combines playful electronics, unconventional song structures, and a fascination with the textures and rhythms of everyday life. She is also a member of the experimental band ?? (Glintshake), whose work draws on improvisation and a wide range of musical influences, from avant-garde traditions to 20th-century Russian music. As a solo artist, Kate NV has released music through the independent label RVNG Intl., developing a singular sonic language that moves freely between experimental composition, pop, and electronic music --- GAL GO is the project of multi-instrumentalist Ignacio Salvadores, born in Buenos Aires and based in London since 2016. Described as a "burst of passion that's mysterious and striking" [Pitchfork], GAL GO's sound is full of complexities. A key collaborator of Archy Marshall, his effortless embrace of jazz, rock, and experimentation placed his music in a universe of its own. Singing in his native language, he seeks to connect his two worlds in a way that's both brooding and exhilarating.
